Your journey begins with check-in at the Līhuʻe Airport meeting point, where you’ll receive a safety briefing before boarding the helicopter. After buckling in and putting on your two-way communication headset, you’ll lift off and quickly discover the island’s breathtaking beauty from above. During the flight, you’ll pass over the emerald ridges and deep valleys of Manawaiopuna Falls, the famous waterfall featured in Jurassic Park. The helicopter then continues over the dramatic landscapes of Waimea Canyon, often called the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” where colourful cliffs and cascading waterfalls stretch for miles.
Next, marvel at the legendary Nā Pali Coast, where towering sea cliffs rise thousands of feet above the Pacific Ocean, creating one of Hawaii’s most iconic coastal scenes. The flight also reveals the lush Hanalei Valley, dotted with rivers and waterfalls, before circling Mount Waiʻaleʻale, one of the wettest places on Earth. Please Note: Passengers must weigh no more than 109 kg (240 lbs) each, and confirmation will be received at the time of booking. The tour is not wheelchair accessible; however, most travellers are able to participate. Every seat offers excellent views, with all passengers enjoying a window seat. Seating is assigned at check-in after completing the required weight and balance procedure. The pilot sits in the left-front seat, with passengers seated in the front-centre, front-right, left-rear, and right-rear positions.
Single passengers weighing more than 109 kg must purchase an additional seat. For two passengers, if the combined weight exceeds 181 kg (400 lbs), an additional seat must also be purchased. Groups of four passengers must not exceed a combined total weight of 338 kg (745 lbs).
Guests are required to check in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled flight time. Cameras are welcome but must be securely tethered. The minimum age to participate is 10 years old, and the experience operates as a shared tour with a maximum of four travellers. Guests wishing for a private experience should reserve all four seats when booking. Please note that scuba diving is not permitted within 24 hours prior to departure.
